About the Author
Jack Rowland
Stories of love, guilt and trust
Jack Rowland was born in the early 1970s in the heart of Europe. In his novels he explores the great emotions of life – love in all its shades, the weight of old guilt, and the question of how much trust one person can place in another.
Rowland believes that the greatest dramas don't unfold in distant worlds, but in the hearts of ordinary people – at the quiet turning points where a single decision can change an entire life.
Writing is a fascinating counterbalance to his busy everyday life. Professionally, Rowland travels a great deal, getting to know the most varied of places, and brings with him a pronounced inventive spirit — reflected in several patents of his own. He balances this innovative, dynamic side of his life as an independent author of romance and drama series, in which he devotes himself entirely to the emotional depth and authenticity of his characters.
When he is neither travelling nor plotting new stories at his desk, you'll find Rowland where life is most beautiful to him: out in nature and at a well-laid table. At his side is always his wife — a dependable anchor and an inexhaustible source of inspiration. And more than anything, he is proud of his family, from which he draws new strength and new stories again and again.
